Nate Bittle’s 18 points lead Oregon men’s basketball past McGill University

Oregon males’s basketball opened its journey to Canada with a blowout.

Nate Bittle had 18 factors and 7 rebounds and Kel’el Ware had 17 factors to guide 5 Geese in double-figures in a 102-48 win over McGill College in Montreal on Sunday.

Bittle scored 9 of his factors throughout a 24-13 first quarter for UO, with Ware including six and Quincy Guerrier scoring 5 of his 11 factors within the body.

Keeshawn Barthelemy had 14 factors and Gabe Reichle had 10 for Oregon, which took a 55-21 lead into the break.

Will Richardson had two factors and two assists in solely 9 minutes of motion.

The Geese shot 58.7% from the sphere, together with 40.7% (11 of 27) from three. Bittle, who was 1 of 5 from three all of final season, made all three of his makes an attempt from behind the arc.

N’Faly Dante didn’t journey with UO for the journey as a result of his visa restrictions.

Oregon continues its five-game journey in opposition to the College of Ottawa on Monday, with Carleton College Tuesday and McMaster College and Toronto Metropolitan College on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
