Oregon Geese shortstop Josh Kasevich might be headed north of the border as he was chosen within the second spherical of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. The American League East workforce took Kasevich with the sixty fourth general decide.

Kasevich was a Pac-12 all-conference and all-defensive workforce choice within the 2022 season.

In his junior season, Kasevich had a .310 common with 76 hits, 44 RBIs and 7 house runs. He had a .980 fielding score with 100 putouts. The MLB Draft’s official tracker referred to Kasevich as “maybe one of the best defender within the Pacific Northwest.”

Kasevich is a local of Palo Alto, California.
