Big Rattlesnake fire in eastern Oregon fully contained; feds laud local volunteers

The Huge Rattlesnake hearth, southwest of the Wallowa-Whitman Nationwide Forest in jap Oregon, is now 100% contained, officers mentioned.

Lightning sparked the fireplace on Sunday night, and it was absolutely contained by Monday afternoon. It burned 574 acres in complete, 158 acres on non-public land and 258 acres on public land.
