The New Mexico State Flower, the yucca is blooming in Southern New Mexico. Generally known as ‘Lamparas de Dioe’ of ‘Lamps of God’, the yucca was named the state flower in 1927. Photograph by Terrance Haanen/Instagram@terrancehaanenimages
