Flash floods turn deadly in northern NM burn scar area

LAS VEGAS, N.M. — Hearth officers confirmed two individuals died – and a 3rd is lacking – after flash floods hit the wildfire burn scar close to Las Vegas.

The chief of the Cabo Lucero Volunteer Hearth Division stated they first acquired a name round 2:40 p.m. Thursday a couple of car floating. The hearth chief confirmed they responded and found two individuals lifeless and one individual lacking.
