Detention center administrator announces his resignation
Curry County Detention Administrator Mark Gallegos has submitted his resignation.
In a information launch from county supervisor Lance Pyle writes Gallegos’ resignation comes after six years with the county.
Pyle studies Gallegos has been employed by the Core Civic-owned Cibola County Correctional Heart that homes Federal marshal, ICE, and county detainees.
Pyle has appointed assistant detention administrator Joe Alaniz as interim detention administrator efficient June 1.
