Arizona deputies arrest fugitive accused of murder in New Mexico

PHOENIX – A person needed for homicide in New Mexico was arrested in northern Arizona this week, authorities mentioned.

Fabian Archuleta, 39, was taken into custody round 3 p.m. Tuesday in Seligman, off Interstate 40 between Kingman and Flagstaff, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned in a press launch Friday.

YCSO deputies made contact with Archuleta after getting data from police in Española, New Mexico, that he was within the Seligman space.

The fugitive initially refused to cooperate and wouldn’t depart his automobile, however the deputies coaxed him out and arrested him with out incident, YCSO mentioned.

Archuleta was being in held in Yavapai County Jail whereas awaiting extradition on a warrant out of Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, based on the discharge.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reported that Archuleta is suspected of fatally taking pictures a person who was making an attempt to promote him a stolen automotive in Española on Oct. 22.

The newspaper mentioned his earlier prison document contains convictions for aggravated battery, false imprisonment and possession of a managed substance.

Seligman is about 500 miles west of Española, which is close to the state capital of Santa Fe.
