Who are the top high school cross country runners in Northern Nevada?

Get ready for a showdown that’s been inevitable since August.

After more than two months of competing at various meets around Northern Nevada and the West Coast, many of the high school cross country runners in Northern Nevada have not faced off in person, which will change this week.

The top runners in Northern Nevada high school cross country will be competing at the Regional cross country championships, with all three classes set to run Friday at Rancho San Rafael in Reno.

Many schools have been traveling out of Nevada to compete, so this will be one of the first times this fall all the best runners are competing against one another.

The state meet is scheduled for Nov. 2 at Veterans Park in Southern Nevada.
