Sierra Nevada Brewing Announces Possibly The Best Contest For Beer Lovers

Sierra Nevada Brewing has launched the “Still The One” Friends Reunion Contest with possibly the best prize a beer lover could dream of. One lucky craft beer fan will reunite with five of their friends at Sierra Nevada Brewing’s brewery in Mills River just outside Asheville, North Carolina to brew a custom-made beer. Sierra Nevada opened the east coast brewery in 2015 to supplement its original brewery in Chico, California.

The “Still The One” contest name references Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, their flagship beer and a classic American pale ale that, despite being introduced over 40 years ago, is still the beer against which all other American-style pale ales are measured.

“We wanted to celebrate Pale Ale,” said Lesley Albright, vice president of marketing at Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. “In an industry that is always chasing what’s new, we still have a lot of love for Pale Ale, and it’s the only brand that has been a top brand in craft beer for 40 years.”

The prize is the ultimate beer lover’s experience. The winner and five friends will fly to Sierra Nevada’s brewery in Mills River for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make their own custom-brewed commemorative beer. The prize includes flights, accommodations, meals and a merchandise package. The winner and their friends will work with Sierra Nevada’s brewers to develop a recipe, name their creation, and help brew their one-of-a-kind beer. The finished beer will be given to the winner and will be available in the Mills River taproom.

Eligible people can enter the contest via the contest website, or via Instagram by uploading a 30-second video or photo explaining why they deserve to win this priceless prize, using the #SierraNevadaReunionContest hashtag and tagging @sierranevada. The contest closes at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on October 15, 2023. The winner will be contacted on November 8, 2023 with the good news.
