Nevada to get $33 million for public health infrastructure
WASHINGTON D.C., Virginia (KOLO) – The state of Nevada will likely be getting $33 million in funding for public well being infrastructure.
Funding for the grant is partially paid for by the American Rescue Plan and can go in the direction of supporting native and territorial well being departments in sustaining workers, providers, and programs.
“These previous couple of years have made it clear that we should put money into the essential establishments that defend public well being,” stated Nevada Senator Jacky Senator Rosen. “That’s why I’m proud to announce almost $33 million in federal funding will come to Nevada to strengthen our public well being system and proceed defending households throughout our state.”

- Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Well being – $9,958,802
- Southern Nevada Well being District – $22,889,114
