Las Vegas police closed roads to investigate unresponsive, armed man in downtown
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department closed roads as they responded to an incident where a man passed out at the wheel Sunday afternoon.
Police were on scene at MLK Boulevard between Bonanza Road and US 95 ramps where the man was not responding and was armed with a gun.
“Everything is fine now,” police said. “He woke up and cooperated.” However, police did not confirm if any crimes had been committed.
RTC also reported the incident at MLK Boulevard around 12 p.m. They said the north and south lanes were closed at Bonanza Road thru US 95 ramps.
At 1:35 p.m., officials said all roads are open.
