I-80 reopens after rockslide, spinouts cleared

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – 6:00 P.M. UPDATE: Interstate 80 is again open after a rockslide at Mystic and spinouts close to Donner Summit have been cleared. Chains are nonetheless required for automobiles heading over the move.

ORIGINAL STORY: Westbound I-80 on the Nevada State line has been closed as a result of a rockslide at Mystic in Nevada County.

Along with the rockslide, westbound I-80 visitors can be being held in Truckee and I-80 eastbound visitors is being held at Fortress Peak as a result of a number of spin outs over the Donner Summit.

There isn’t any estimated time of reopening.
