The Meals Financial institution of Northern Nevada is bringing their Produce On Wheels program to 2 new websites starting in October of 2022.
Produce On Wheels is a senior program specializing in offering entry to wholesome, nutritious meals that may typically be out of attain for these on a set revenue.
This system operates out of a brand new farmer’s market type truck that permits seniors to pick their very own produce in manageable portions.
Produce On Wheels will now be serving on the Downtown Library at 301 S. Middle Avenue in Reno on the second and third Wednesday of every month from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The second new location is on the Chilly Springs Valley Church at 3385 White Lake Pkwy in Chilly Springs on the second and fourth Friday of every month from 10:30 -11:30 a.m.
Produce on Wheels won’t be in operation on Friday, October 28.
