Davidson Academy in Reno Wins Nevada Science Bowl for Fourth Straight Year

After two years of digital competitions, the Nevada Science Bowl returned to crown a brand new set of champions throughout its first in-person contest because the pandemic.

The 32nd annual Nevada Science Bowl featured 24 groups representing 18 excessive faculties from throughout the area.

Davidson Academy (Workforce One) from Reno gained first place and can advance to the Nationwide Science Bowl in Washington, D.C., April 27 to Could 1.

College students answered questions on science, know-how, engineering, and arithmetic in a fast-paced, query and-answer format all through 9 rounds. 

With the win, Davidson Academy has gained the final 4 Nevada Science Bowls.

Workforce two from Davidson Academy gained second place and Workforce One from Clark Excessive Faculty completed in third place.

The highest 12 groups obtained money prizes for his or her college’s math and science departments.
