Broncos Down Rams
The Boise State Broncos (11-4, 6-6-0 ATS) defeated the Colorado State Rams on Tuesday, 65-58. The victory was the third straight for the Broncos. Boise State is 1-1 (1-1-0 ATS) on the road. Boise State is ranked 59th according to KenPom and 49th in the Bart Torvik rankings.
Both teams struggled to shoot in the first half, as the Broncos held a 28-21 lead despite hitting only 39.3% of their shots. They did hit four of 11 three-point attempts before the break but finished 6-18 overall. That was right around their season average (34.7%), but they finished with a 38.9% field goal percentage, down significantly from their season average (45.9%).
Five different players scored in double-digits for the Broncos, led by O’Mar Stanley who had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Stanley went 7-13 shooting, continuing his impressive season that has seen the center averaging 61.5% from the field. The Broncos are 100th in points per 100 possessions (109.0) and 33rd in points allowed per 100 possessions (96.2).
Wolfpack Win Streaks Continues
The Nevada Wolfpack (15-1, 11-4-0 ATS) defeated Air Force on Tuesday, 67-54. It was their eighth straight victory as the Wolfpack are now a perfect 9-0 at home (5-3-0 ATS). Nevada is 33rd in KenPom Rankings and is 35th according to Bart Torvik.
Nevada held a six-point lead at the half, holding Air Force to 38.5% shooting. The defense continued to storm the Falcons, holding them to 37.3% overall despite the Academy hitting 10 of 23 three-point attempts (43.5%). Navada is on a roll and will probably win this game. However, expecting them to win by more than six is unlikely. The Broncos are just 3-6-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings, but they have always been the favorites. The shoe is on the other foot, and it will be the Wolfpack struggling to cover the spread.
The Broncos are a very good shooting team and are good enough at the free-throw line to keep this close (71.2%). They are also a very good rebounding team, which should help them to keep this game close. Nevada wins by no more than five.
Prediction: Take the Boise State Broncos at +6.5 (-115)

When these teams meet, they let the shots fly and the action is really great. They have gone over in seven of the last 10 meetings, including in the last six meetings. The totals for all of those games were at 133.0 or more and they still managed to go over.
Nevada has had a lot of success putting up points lately. They have produced at least 88 in three of their last six games and are at 72 or more in eight of their last 10. Boise State has produced at least 78 in five of their last seven games.
Prediction: Go over 140.5 (-110)
