Montana completes regular-season volleyball sweep of Montana State

MISSOULA — The Montana Grizzlies volleyball program topped rival Montana State 3-1 on Friday night at Dahlberg Area, because the Grizzlies earned the common season sweep of the Bobcats and once more stored maintain of the Important Line Trophy.

Paige Clark led the best way for UM with 15 kills whereas Catie Semadeni added 13 and Ellie Scherffius tallied 10 within the win. The Grizzlies gained 25-15, 27-25, 22-25, 25-15.

Within the fourth set UM ran away with the sport, as Montana constructed a 16-6 benefit and by no means regarded again. After the Bobcats scored three straight factors to earn some momentum, Alicia Wallingford earned the ultimate kill to offer the Grizzlies the win, their third straight over the Bobcats.

The Griz improved to 16-10 total and 9-5 in Large Sky Convention play with the win, whereas MSU dropped to 11-15 and 7-7.
