First openly trans and non-binary candidates elected to Montana Legislature
MISSOULA — Missoula voters elected the primary overtly transgender and non-binary candidates to the Montana Legislature this week.
Home District 95 will probably be represented by non-binary Democrat SJ Howell within the upcoming legislative session. Home District 100 will probably be represented by Democrat Zooey Zephyr, a transgender girl.
