Woman arrested after allegedly kidnapping child in Utah – East Idaho News

IDAHO FALLS – A neighborhood girl was arrested Wednesday after allegedly kidnapping her daughter from South Salt Lake, Utah, and bringing her to japanese Idaho.

Jennifer Krysta Estrada, 32, appeared in courtroom Friday to face a cost of second-degree kidnapping.

The incident started on Wednesday when the kid was reported lacking. The South Salt Lake police contacted Idaho Falls police after studying the kid was possible on her approach to Idaho Falls with Estrada, her non-custodial mom.

Idaho Falls police met with the kid’s grandmother who’s her authorized guardian and had been current when Estrada reportedly referred to as the grandmother. Estrada confirmed that she had the kid, and informed the grandmother to “serve me”, which officers say meant “sue me”.
