North Ogden trucker escapes injury after semi catches fire in Idaho | Gephardt Daily

JEROME, Idaho, June 12, 2022 (Gephardt Each day) — A 57-year-old man from North Ogden was in a position to escape with out damage after his semi truck and trailer caught fireplace close to Jerome, Idaho.

An announcement from the Idaho State Police says the person, whose identify was not launched, was close to Interstate 84, milepost 167, close to Jerome, when his rig caught fireplace at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.

“A 57-year-old man from North Ogden, Utah, was driving a 2019 Peterbuilt semi truck towing a 2021 Dutchman toy hauler trailer, westbound on I-84 at milepost 167, close to Jerome. The truck and trailer caught on fireplace. The driving force was in a position to cease and get out of the automobile to security.”

Jerome is about 15 miles north-northwest of Twin Falls.

The ISP assertion, issued at 4 p.m., mentioned the proper site visitors lane was blocked, “and there may be congestion within the space. Crews will probably be within the space cleansing the scene for an prolonged period of time.”
