Idaho signs letter telling Biden it wants passenger rail service linking state with Utah, Nevada

BOISE – The Idaho Transportation joined with related businesses in Utah and Nevada to inform the federal authorities it’s eager about a set of latest passenger rail corridors that might join Boise, Salt Lake Metropolis, and Las Vegas.

The businesses signed a letter to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg two weeks in the past that served as a proper “expression of curiosity” in organising the rail hyperlink between the three cities. “The proposed Intermountain hall will strengthen connections between metropolitan areas of Salt Lake Metropolis, Utah, and Boise, Idaho,” the letter stated. ITD Director Scott Stokes signed the letter, alongside together with his counterparts in Utah and Nevada.
