Deadline to Remove Studded Snow Tires in Idaho is April 30

BOISE – The deadline to take away studded snow tires in Idaho is rapidly approaching. Per Idaho legislation, all studded snow tires should be eliminated by Saturday, April 30, or drivers danger probably receiving a $67 advantageous. 

Studded tires are authorized in Idaho from October 1 to April 30 annually. Neighboring states like Washington and Oregon require the tires to be eliminated by March 31.

  • Nevada: October 1 – April 30
  • Utah: October 15 – April 15
  • Oregon: November 1 – March 31
  • Washington: November 1 – March 31
  • Wyoming: Authorized all 12 months
