IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – Idaho Falls Downtown Growth Company’s (IFDDC) Board of Administrators introduced Monday Catherine Smith has rejoined the downtown group as govt director.

Smith left IFDDC as its govt director in February 2022 to affix the Idaho Nationwide Laboratory.

Smith joined the Idaho Falls Downtown Growth Company in 2017. 

Smith is a fourth era Idahoan and is tied to her native and regional group by way of nonprofit work and volunteerism. She serves as Vice President of the Idaho Falls Rotary Membership, Vice President of the Civitan’s Membership, Chair of the East Regional Council for the Idaho Group Basis, serves on the Board of Administrators of the District 91 Schooling Basis, Better Idaho Falls Space Chamber of Commerce, is a Commissioner of Idaho Falls Historic Preservation Fee, and is the Govt Secretary of the Jap Idaho Agriculture Corridor of Fame. In 2019 she was acknowledged with the 2019 Idaho APAP Management Award. She is a graduate of the Management Idaho Falls program from the Better Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and was acknowledged as a Distinguished Beneath 40 award winner. She has additionally labored for the Idaho Group Basis, Idaho Falls Arts Council, Put up Register, and the Idaho Fee on the Arts.
