5 people in 1 car hospitalized after crash on U.S. Highway 20 – East Idaho News

ASHTON — Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle harm crash that occurred on U.S. Freeway 20 at milepost 364 in Fremont County.

The crash occurred at round 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6.

Police experiences present the driving force of a Subaru Legacy was touring westbound, crossed the middle line and struck a semi-truck heading eastbound on US-20.

The Subaru was occupied by a male 23-year-old driver, a 23-year-old male passenger, a 22-year-old male passenger, a 21-year-old male passenger and a 20-year-old male passenger who had been all from Burley.

The motive force and entrance passenger had been sporting their seatbelts and the three again passengers weren’t sporting their seatbelts. All occupants of the Subaru had been transported to a close-by hospital by floor ambulance. Their situations are unknown.

The motive force of the semi-truck was a 57-year-old male from Pennsylvania. He was sporting his seatbelt and was not transported.

All lanes had been blocked, in each methods, for roughly two hours whereas emergency responders labored to help occupants and clear the scene.
