3 vehicle crash on US 26 in Idaho Falls – Local News 8

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – Idaho State Police is investigating a three-vehicle collision that occurred on Friday at 12:33 p.m. on US 26 at Iona Street in Idaho Falls.

A 63-year-old male from Ammon was touring eastbound on Iona Street in a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The motive force of the Silverado didn’t yield from a cease signal and struck a Ford Transit van, pushed by a 28-year-old male, from Arco, who was touring northbound on Yellowstone Street. The Ford Transit van then struck an Audi A4, pushed by a 29-year-old male from Idaho Falls, who was stationary at a cease signal on Iona Street. The affect of the collision pushed the Audi and the Ford Transit van into an influence pole, which knocked the facility pole over.

All drivers had been carrying seatbelts.

The Idaho State Police had been assisted by Idaho Falls Hearth. This incident stays underneath investigation by the Idaho State Police.
