DENVER – An 81-year-old man needs justice after he says he was assaulted for defending himself from vicious canine.

He’s involved he won’t ever discover it as Denver Police have been investigating the case for 3 months and solely referred to as him again after inquiries from Denver7.

Frederick Harris walks 5 days per week within the Montbello neighborhood. In April, he heard three canine whereas strolling on Randolf Place and crossed to the alternative aspect of the road.

“I did not attempt to harm the canine however the canine was attempting to eat me up. The canine is aggressive,” Harris stated.

Harris says 4 members of the family then accosted him about hitting the canine and one girl hit him twice.

Neighbors stepped in to maintain issues from escalating. He says an ambulance and police quickly arrived.

Harris shared photos of his bruised face per week after the alleged assault.

Harris needs the one who assaulted him charged and to know why Denver police hadn’t returned his cellphone calls in three months.

Denver7 reached out to Denver police for solutions, and the division stated they have been investigating and “lately involved with Mr. Harris.”
