Mother, baby hit in minor crash near Colorado State Fair

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) – A mother and baby were involved in a crash near the Colorado State Fair on Saturday.

Pueblo police said this happened just after 5 p.m. They told 11 News a mother with a stroller was trying to cross the street at Beulah and Small avenues.

They said they were hit by a driver who was traveling at a very low speed. That driver was cited for failure to yield.

Police told 11 News the mother and baby are expected to be okay. They said there were only minor injuries, but could not specify whether it was the mother or baby or both who were injured.
