Death investigation underway near a popular Colorado Springs park Friday
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Very few details were available tied to a death investigation near a popular Colorado Springs park on Friday.
The Colorado Springs Police Department is reporting their Homeless Outreach Team responded to a call for service near America the Beautiful Park at about 10:13 in the morning. The park is in downtown Colorado Springs.
“Our Homicide unit responded to investigate, and that investigation is still underway,” a police spokesperson wrote to 11 News.
No other details on the investigation were shared with 11 News.
