Nearly one month removed from his stellar spring game performance, Montana Lemonious-Craig made it official that he’ll be playing elsewhere in 2023.
The sophomore wide receiver was tied closely to Auburn, Michigan State and Penn State over the past few weeks, but he ultimately committed to Arizona on Saturday, joining Nikko Reed (Oregon), Carson Becker (Utah), Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State) and Na’im Rodman (Washington State) as other notable former Buffs to transfer within the Pac-12 this offseason.
In his three years at Colorado, Lemonious-Craig played in 23 games with 497 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He’ll be back in Boulder on Nov. 11 when his Wildcats face the Buffs.
Arizona is another Pac-12 program on the rise as the Cats bounced back from a 1-11 2021 season to finish 5-7 last fall.
