Tesla spontaneously combusts on Sacramento freeway
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A Tesla spontaneously combusted earlier Saturday in Sacramento whereas being pushed on a freeway, authorities reported.
Metro Fire of Sacramento mentioned the Tesla S Mannequin was not dashing whereas driving eastbound on Freeway 50 when its battery compartment instantly caught fireplace.

Officers mentioned no accidents had been reported however that round 6000 gallons of water had been used to extinguish the flames. Two fireplace engines, a water tender, and a ladder truck had been used to assist put out the fireplace.
