Police identify suspect in West Hills shooting that left one person dead and three others injured
A 34-year-old Woodland Hills man has been arrested on suspicion of homicide following a taking pictures in a West Hills parking zone that left one individual lifeless and three wounded.
Mark Connole was arrested after fleeing the location of the taking pictures, which occurred round 3:45 p.m. at a parking zone within the Fallbrook Heart, Los Angeles Police officers stated. One individual died on the scene, whereas the three others have been taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.
Connole reportedly fled in a purple Honda, and a “quick pursuit” adopted after the motive force did not cease, LAPD stated. Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton stated Connole managed to modify automobiles in the course of the pursuit. The driving force of the second car, a girl, ultimately pulled over and Connole was arrested, Hamilton stated. His bail has been set at $2 million.
Police are nonetheless investigating the taking pictures, together with the connection between Connole and the victims, LAPD public info officer Jeff Lee stated on Sunday. The police haven’t but recognized the individual killed.
LAPD detectives are asking anybody who took video of the taking pictures to contact the division.
