Final month, crews put in 15 pre-cast girders on the Merced Avenue Grade Separation south of Wasco. These girders spanned greater than 177 toes and are among the longest manufactured by subcontractor Con-Fab California. Earlier this spring, the final 4 of 120 pre-cast concrete girders have been positioned on the pergola part of the Wasco Viaduct.
