Notre Dame tops California in Shamrock Classic

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Dara Mabrey led a balanced assault with 16 factors and tied the college document for 3-pointers, and No. 9 Notre Dame defeated California 90-79 within the inaugural Shamrock Traditional on Saturday.

Jayda Curry hit 4 3-pointers and scored 24 factors for the Bears (1-1) and Mia Mastrov added 10.

No. 12 NORTH CAROLINA 75, TCU 48

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Alyssa Ustby and Kennedy Todd-Williams each scored 14 factors to steer a balanced assault for North Carolina in a rout of TCU.

Deja Kelly added 12 factors with seven assists for the Tar Heels (2-0), and Anya Poole and Future Adams each had 10 and mixed for 15 rebounds.

Tomi Taiwo scored 15 factors for the Horned Frogs (1-1).

No. 20 OREGON 90, SEATTLE 47

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Grace VanSlooten scored 16 factors and Oregon coasted to a win over Seattle.

The Geese (2-0) additionally bought 15 factors every from freshman Jennah Isai and Endyia Rogers, 14 from Phillipina Kyei and 10 from Te-Hina Paopao.

VanSlooten, a freshman who has led Oregon in scoring in her first two video games, had 9 rebounds and three blocks. Paopao had seven rebounds, 4 steals and was one among 4 Geese with three assists.

Irena Korolenko led the Redhawks (0-2) with 14 factors.
