Letters to the Editor: California rains are a wake-up call to climate upheaval to come

To the editor: With the current climate disasters, I’ve been involved for these residing in California and was shocked to be taught that a minimum of 19 folks have died due to the current storms.

I used to be particularly moved by the picture of a firefighter rescuing any person’s beloved animal companion.

Now, if solely extra folks would join the Earth’s worsening local weather to the warming gasses launched by animal agriculture, so many extra lives can be saved, each human and animal.

To the editor: Snow within the Sierra Nevada is sweet information, nevertheless it’s solely a part of the story. We have to do not forget that a lot of our water comes from the Colorado River, which continues to be at historic lows.

The drought is much from over, and we want sustainable solutions to our continual water scarcity in Southern California.
