Dramatic drone photos show where land gave way under cliffside residences in San Clemente

4 San Clemente buildings have been yellow-tagged Wednesday after a landslide that adopted heavy rains.

The Orange County Hearth Authority evacuated three residence buildings Wednesday morning as a result of slide within the 1500 block of Buena Vista.

A fourth constructing was evacuated by Wednesday afternoon.

Some residences suffered intensive harm.

Buena Vista was closed to site visitors, as was a path that sits under the residences.

Footage posted on Twitter by the OCFA confirmed intensive harm to the rear of the residences, with patio furnishings strewn on the hillside. Orange County sheriff’s officers mentioned the buildings had been yellow-tagged, in keeping with OnScene.TV.

No accidents have been reported.

Clayton Robinson advised KABC-TV, nonetheless, that he might have misplaced the whole lot within the slide.

“We referred to as our insurance coverage and so they mentioned, properly, they don’t cowl hills taking place,” Robinson advised the station. “So all we now have left is our religion in God.”
