California mom on bus platform assaulted by man trying to take her toddler

Police in Oakland are in search of a person who tried to take a toddler and assaulted the mom whereas on a bus platform.
The Oakland Police Division stated the incident occurred on July 12, shortly after 12:30 p.m. on the AC Transit Bus platform, which is at Excessive Avenue and Worldwide Boulevard within the metropolis.
Members of the family advised police that the person made threats and tried to take the 2-year-old youngster and, after a number of unsuccessful makes an attempt, started to bodily assault the kid’s mom.
After an “unknown good Samaritan” got here to the mom’s support, the person fled the scene, in accordance with police.

In keeping with police, the person is being described as a 40- to 50-year-old Hispanic male who’s 5’10″ tall and 280 kilos. The person was carrying a purple and blue shirt, a blue hat, and black pants on the time of the incident.
