California man shot after calling cops ‘pigs’, charging them with steel bar

A California man was shot and killed Sunday after calling cops “pigs” and working in the direction of them with a metal bar.

Bodycam footage allegedly exhibits Adam Barcenas, 60, charging towards officers in Oxnard, California with a five-foot metal bar Sunday at 6 a.m.

Oxnard cops had been conducting a DUI investigation when Barcenas – who was not concerned – confronted them.

Barcenas could be heard calling the officers “pigs” and yelling “I hate you” within the video.

Officers requested Barcenas to face down, however he superior in the direction of an officer who then fired 4 pictures. 

“Barcenas ignored the officers’ instructions and continued to advance in the direction of the officers in an aggressive and threatening method,” the Oxnard Police Division stated in a press launch.

Three of the pictures struck Barcenas. One other officer fired her taser, which didn’t penetrate Barcena’s pores and skin.
