California bicyclist killed: Driver crashed into him, then stabbed him, police say

A bicyclist is useless in Orange County after being stabbed by a driver who had simply crashed into him, a sheriff’s spokesman mentioned.

The assault occurred round 3 p.m. Wednesday on Pacific Coast Freeway in Dana Level. The bicyclist, within the freeway’s northbound lanes, had been stopped at a pink mild when he was struck from behind by a white Lexus.

The influence threw the bike owner and his bike all the way in which throughout the intersection. The Lexus’ driver pulled over, received out of his automotive and attacked the fallen man, witnesses mentioned. The sheriff’s division confirmed studies that the sufferer was stabbed.

Surveillance video from a close-by residence reveals the northbound bicyclist stopped to the left of a right-turn lane. As a southbound automotive completes a left flip in entrance of the ready site visitors, the bicyclist begins to maneuver ahead into the crosswalk  — and is struck by the Lexus that comes up rapidly behind him and continues throughout the intersection after the influence.

The stretch of freeway has a motorcycle lane and a 50 mph velocity restrict.
