SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom issued the next assertion after the State Water Sources Management Board adopted emergency water conservation rules in the present day in response to the Governor’s March Government Order:

“California is going through a drought disaster and each native water company and Californian must step up on conservation efforts. I’m hopeful the measures enacted by the State Water Board will result in a discount of water use throughout the state. These conservation measures are more and more necessary as we enter the summer season months. I’m asking all Californians to step up, as a result of each single drop counts.”
