State Farm Stadium a middle-ranked NFL venue

State Farm Stadium is ranked 13th among NFL stadiums by USA TODAY and 16th by Sports Illustrated.

“On the outside, it’s one of the more outlandishly designed stadiums in the league. But once you walk inside, it’s almost a bit underwhelming how generic and stripped down the concourses are … The stadium is better known for hosting classic Super Bowls and college games than it is for anything related to the Cardinals. It’s a fine stadium, but there’s room for improvement with the venue and its disastrous playing surface,” Andrew Joseph wrote for USA Today.

State Farm Stadium, like Lambeau Field, is cashless.

When do gates open at State Farm Stadium?

Here’s where to listen to the game on radio

Packers games can be heard on the Packers Radio Network, which includes 54 stations in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, North Dakota and South Dakota.

The Packers announced this week that the radio network will get a new flagship station, WRIT-Milwaukee, 95.7 BIG FM. Owner iHeart Radio is switching current flagship station, WRNW-Milwaukee, 97.3 The Game, to an all-music format. Both stations will broadcast the next two Packers games as part of the transition to 95.7 WRIT. There are no changes to other stations in the network.

Wayne Larrivee does play-by-play and two-time Packers Pro Bowler Larry McCarren provides analysis. That will not change.

The radio broadcast will be streamed at Packers.com. The Packers mobile app will stream the radio broadcast within the Packers’ home market, per NFL broadcast restrictions. Fans within the Packers’ local home marketing area can watch the game on Packers.com.

Triple-digit temps return to Arizona for Mother’s Day weekend

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Warmer weather is in store for Mother’s Day weekend in the Valley, with temperatures jumping 10 to 15 degrees above average.

We have issued First Alert Weather Days for Saturday and Sunday with high temps expected near 104-105. A heads-up in case you’re planning any Mother’s Day activities, because you may want to take part in outdoor events in the morning or move those activities indoors.

And high temperatures could get even warmer by next week. Right now, models are hinting at temps near 107 Monday and 106 Tuesday. These above-average temperatures are due to a ridge of high pressure building from the west.

For the weekend, a widespread Moderate Heat Risk is expected. What that means is that the weather will affect those who are sensitive to heat, especially those without cooling/hydration, and some health systems and industries.

Right now, there are no Extreme Heat Watches or Warnings in effect from the National Weather Service, but we will keep you posted.

By the end of next week, an incoming weather system could lead to slightly cooler temperatures, but temps should still stay above average.

We’re not tracking any chances for rain in the Valley for the next five to seven days.
