Arizona troopers seize 70 pounds of meth during Laveen traffic stop
LAVEEN, Ariz. – Arizona troopers seized greater than 70 kilos of methamphetamine throughout a visitors cease in Laveen, officers stated.
Troopers say they pulled over a pickup truck close to forty third Avenue and Baseline on April 7 after “a number of visitors infractions” have been dedicated.
Authorities found the meth, valued at greater than $459,000, hidden inside.
The motive force, 32-year-old Edgar Garcia, and the passenger, 38-year-old Laura Cardenas, have been booked into Maricopa County Jail on drug possession and transportation fees. Each are from Whittier, California.
