TOLLESON, AZ (AZFamily) — New video appears to shows Arizona State Senate candidate Leezah Sun taking down a political opponent’s flyer at a Valley home, tossing it on the ground and replacing it with her own.

Sun, from the Tolleson area, resigned from the State House a few months ago after an ethics committee found she violated ethics rules with a pattern of disorderly behavior.

She was accused by fellow Democrats of harassment and threatening a Tolleson city employee.

Her opponent Evangelina Diaz, whose flyer was taken down, said about the incident, “This is just another example of how she does not have integrity, ethics or respect.”

Sun denied that she stole the flyer but did not deny replacing another flyer with her own.

“I do not like to engage in dirty politics or dirty campaign tactics,” she said in a statement. “I did not steal/destroy the other candidate’s campaign material, but if it is perceived that way, I apologize.”
