Arizona gov’s rep resigns over Nashville shooting ‘transphobes’ tweet

The press secretary for Democratic Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs resigned Wednesday, two days after posting a tweet that appeared to help gunning down “transphobes” within the wake of the lethal capturing at a Nashville Christian college.

“The Governor doesn’t condone violence in any type,” Hobbs’ workplace mentioned in an unsigned assertion after Josselyn Berry stepped down. “This administration holds mutual respect on the forefront of how we have interaction with each other. The put up by the Press Secretary will not be reflective of the values of the administration. The Governor has acquired and accepted the resignation of the Press Secretary.”

Berry had posted a picture of a girl brandishing firearms hours after Monday’s capturing on the Covenant College, which left three 9-year-old college students and three employees members useless.

The shooter, 28-year-old Audrey Hale — who recognized as transgender — was shot and killed by responding cops.

Berry had tweeted Monday that for those who “are transphobic, you’re not progressive,” prompting one Twitter consumer to reply, “Undecided these transphobic-from-the-left posers know who they’re messing with.”

“Us after we see transphobes,” Berry tweeted again with the gun-toting GIF from the 1980 film “Gloria.”

Arizona Republicans had been fast to denounce the tweet.
