Areas of northern Arizona under evacuation orders due to severe flooding
YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. – Authorities in northern Arizona are telling some residents to move to an evacuation middle, or to move someplace else secure, as extreme floodwaters are making for harmful residing and touring situations on March 21.
Winter climate advisories have been issued for elements of central, northwest and northeast Arizona with the Flagstaff space forecast to rise up to three inches of snow.
Yavapai County
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Workplace stated there may be main flooding close to Rimrock, Lake Montezuma and areas alongside Moist Beaver Creek.
Residents of Camp Verde in low-lying areas alongside West Clear Creek in Verde Lakes are informed to evacuate.
“Residences at decrease elevations alongside the Verde River within the City of Camp Verde within the Beaver Creek, Horsehoe, Yaqui, and Quarterhorse are areas in ‘Set’ Standing the place residents must be ready for fast evacuation,” YCSO says. “Please evacuate or transfer to increased floor. Don’t drive throughout flooded roads or crossings.”
The evacuation shelter is at 395 S. Important St in Camp Verde.
