Young wood bison released to the wild in the western Interior – Alaska Public Media

A bunch of 28 yearling wooden bison from Canada that have been transported to the western Inside in July have been launched into the wild.

Alaska Division of Fish and Sport Wooden Bison biologist Tom Seaton stated the yearlings have been barged 750 miles alongside the Tanana, Yukon and Innoko rivers over 4 days, after which launched into a big pen arrange alongside the decrease Innoko River on July 24.
