McConnell backs Murkowski, a centrist Republican, whereas Trump helps Tshibaka in Alaska, which has a ranked alternative voting system. The Senate Management Fund, an excellent PAC tied to McConnell, has paid for adverts in Alaska attacking Tshibaka.
