Wasilla man dead after Alaska State Troopes tried to arrest him
WASILLA, Alaska (KTUU). – A person is useless tonight after Alaska State Troopers tried to arrest him this afternoon for sexual abuse of a minor and sexual assault.
In keeping with a trooper dispatch, at 1:45 p.m., investigators with the a-s-t baby abuse investigation unit tried to arrest 63-year-old Jimmy Janeway at residence.
He answered the door with a gun to his head and refused to drop it.
Janeway informed police that he was not going to jail.
When troopers and Wasilla Police tried to take him away utilizing less-lethal drive, Janeway pointed the gun of their route.
Officers then shot their firearms, hanging him, and he died of his accidents. The names of regulation enforcement that fired their weapons might be launched after 72 hours. That is an ongoing investigation.
