“Commissioner Crum demonstrated to me, and all Alaskans, his administration and management talents over the previous 4 years as well being commissioner,” stated Governor Mike Dunleavy. “From making ready and defending Alaskans from the worldwide pandemic to the reorganization of the Division of Well being and Social Providers, he’s a talented and devoted public servant and I stay up for one other 4 years working with him to maneuver Alaska ahead.”

Mr. Crum was born and raised in Alaska and has expertise within the non-public sector in strategic administration, organizational improvement, government consulting and dealing on mega-projects.   Previous to being appointed commissioner in December 2018, Crum was government vp of his household’s firm, Northern Industrial Coaching. Commissioner Crum is energetic in group service organizations and has served as a board member for teams just like the Salvation Military and MyHouse, a gaggle that works particularly with homeless youth. Each teams work with purchasers coping with psychological well being, substance use dysfunction, transitional housing and workforce improvement points. He has a bachelor’s diploma in psychology from Northwestern College and a Grasp of Science in Public Well being diploma from Johns Hopkins College.

Commissioner Crum will take the helm on the Division of Income on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
