EVERETT, Wash. — A brand new direct flight is coming to Everett’s Paine Subject.

Alaska Airways is including a day by day, nonstop flight between Everett and Anchorage, Alaska, which might be operated by its sister airline, Horizon Air.

Officers with the airline say the choice stems from public demand.

“We listened to our company who dwell and work from north of Seattle to the Canadian border. They advised us certainly one of their prime requests is a nonstop flight between Everett and Anchorage,” stated Brett Catlin, vp of community and alliances for Alaska Airways. “There’s a major want and demand to attach employees and companies within the two areas – from the fishing trade to aviation – along with the need for leisure journey.”
