Second grand jury in Texas declines to indict Browns QB Deshaun Watson
A second grand jury in Texas has declined to indict Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson following an investigation sparked by lawsuits filed by 22 girls who’ve accused him of harassment and sexual assault throughout therapeutic massage classes.
Grand jurors in Brazoria County, Texas, had listened to proof associated to a prison criticism filed by one of many 22 girls.
Brazoria County Dist. Atty. Tom Selleck stated that “after a cautious and thorough evaluation of the information and proof,” the grand jury on Thursday “declined to cost Deshaun Watson with any crimes.”
Earlier this month, one other grand jury in neighboring Harris County, the place Houston is situated, declined to indict Watson in reference to 9 different prison complaints. Watson and his legal professionals have denied the allegations, which had been made when Watson was with the Houston Texans.
