Video: Canyon Country musician attacked with ax

Andy Torres was training enjoying the drums Saturday morning, when his music apparently made one other man so offended, he attacked the musician with an ax.

“With no warning, simply got here up from behind … it was very scary, it was surreal,” Torres stated.

Torres was carrying his heavy metallic costume and masks, training his drumming at Todd Longshore Park in Canyon Nation simply after 7 a.m. Saturday.

He says the attacker got here at him in a rage and destroyed his $500 transportable drum set.

“He might’ve merely instructed me to close up, to cool down and I might have obliged,” Torres stated.

As an alternative the state of affairs escalated.

“He pulled out a handgun from his jacket, and he pointed it at me,” the musician stated. “That’s after I didn’t know what to do anymore.”

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Division is investigating, saying the person “broke the sufferer’s drum set and brandished a firearm in the direction of the sufferer whereas yelling at him.”

Torres captured your entire incident on digicam.

“When he noticed the video digicam, his expression simply modified and he stated to me and the digicam, ‘doesn’t matter that you’ve me on digicam, I’m simply gonna inform them you got here at me, that you just attacked me and provoked me.”

Video captured the suspect and his automobile.

“I’m very fortunate to be alive,” Torres stated.
